Let’s go all the way back to the beginning. I was born and raised in Chester County, PA and attended Downingtown High School. During high school my main course selection was Construction Technology.  After graduating high school I was hired by a licensed contractor to build custom homes. The next two years I was part of a 5 man crew that built many homes in Chester County. As a “stick framer” I was in charge of all phases of construction from the foundation walls to the roof.

From 1990-1992 I was employed with Mid Atlantic Water Proofing. My job was installing drainage systems on the interior and exterior of homes, installing the sump pump and electrical connections. Within one year I was promoted to Service Technician.

In 1992 I decided to learn the flooring trade. During that time I also began college. In college I majored in Advanced Construction Technology. For the next several years I learned the flooring trade and continued taking college courses. In 1994 I decided to open my own flooring business.

From 1994 to approximately 2013. I owned and operated a local Flooring Company. I worked directly with Real Estate Agents, Water Restoration Company’s, Insurance Company’s and Homeowners where my business became known for excellent workmanship and customer service.

In 2006 I began a rental property business in which I purchased and rehabilitated all aspects of each home. Homes would then become rentals or listed for sale.

It was time for a change.  I decided to become a home inspector. Buying a home is one of the largest most important purchases a person will make in their lifetime. I wanted to take all the knowledge of homes I have learned through the years and apply it to helping people make wise decisions when purchasing, selling or maintaining their homes.

In August of 2013 I began doing insurance inspections. In December 2013 I attended and graduated from the ASHI School of Learning, earning my certification. From 2014-2015 I worked for a local inspection company.

In 2015 it was time for a new chapter in my life as a self employed Home Inspector conducting and working with home owners personally for all home inspection jobs I am hired for. It goes without saying that I will continue the tradition of professionalism and excellent customer service as I have for the last 31 years.
